Catch-up

Can you believe it's almost Christmas?? I am super excited. My kids are happy to wake up and turn the tree on, rip a chain off and assemble the Lego Advent pieces. The funny thing is, they reminded me to get Hershey kisses for each day. I always say "A kiss from me to you." But now they make me chase them around the house. They think they're too old to be kissed by their momma. I beg to differ.

Sassy broke her appliance on Thursday. Can you believe it?! She only had it three days. She took it off and put it on the floor, so she could pick a piece of food out of her tooth. Then she proceeded to slam her hand down, as she was getting up. CRACK!! I'm hoping the replacement will be here tomorrow, when she goes for spacers. But that's wishful thinking. I can't imagine it'll be done yet. So looks like we'll be going back yet another day. *sigh*

Casey had surgery today. No puppies for her!! We were going nuts without her in the house. We were actually bored without her. :) The kids were rushing to get out of the door and go pick her up. So now she's laying on the floor looking pitiful. I hope she sleeps good tonight.

I guess it's offical, she's part of our family. Dangnabbit!!! :)
